Ms. Danita Phithaknetikun, Chief Business Development Officer of Medeze Group Public Company Limited (MEDEZE) participated in a charitable initiative by donating essential items to Baan Srinakarin, under the Foundation for Slum Child Care under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana, Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra, located on Phutthamonthon Sai 3 Road (Soi Phetkasem 104).
The donation aimed to bring joy and support to underprivileged children through the provision of five meals, infant support chairs, and office supplies to assist teachers in conducting educational activities that enhance early childhood development.
Baan Srinakarin – Foundation for Slum Child Care (Soi Phetkasem 104), situated in Nong Khaem District, Bangkok, provides weekday care (Monday through Friday) for children aged between 3 months and 5 years. The children under its care come from impoverished families, whose parents primarily work as waste collectors, recyclers, or daily laborers. The beneficiaries include both Thai children and those of migrant workers from Cambodia and Laos, living in the Nong Khaem landfill community, where living conditions are extremely challenging.
The foundation is dedicated to nurturing children during the most critical stages of their development, providing them with a safe, warm, and supportive environment. Infants receive attentive care, while toddlers and older children engage in developmental activities, enjoy nutritious meals, receive health care services, and have access to proper rest.
In addition to offering childcare services, the foundation also focuses on improving the overall quality of life for children in the landfill community. It provides education and guidance to parents and guardians, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to raise their children effectively — all under the comprehensive care of the Foundation for Slum Child Care.
