MEDEZE Signals Profit Recovery as Q2/2026 Net Profit Surges 17% QoQ Confident in Its Position as Thailand’s Only Certified Cell Bank
MEDEZE Group reported a net profit of THB 40.18 million for the second quarter of 2026, representing a 17% increase quarter on quarter, on total revenue of THB 170.31 million. The company remains confident in its potential as Thailand’s only certified cell bank while moving forward with its expansion into the Philippines, upgrading its medical infrastructure, and advancing ongoing research initiatives.
Dr. Veerapol Khemarangsan, Chief Executive Officer of Medeze Group Public Company Limited (MEDEZE), revealed that the company recorded a net profit of THB 40.18 million for the second quarter of 2026. This represented an increase of THB 5.81 million, or approximately 17%, from the net profit of THB 34.37 million recorded in the previous quarter. Total revenue for the quarter amounted to THB 170.31 million.
The company’s net profit has shown clear signs of recovery over the past four quarters, rising from THB 30.54 million in the third quarter of 2025, THB 36.43 million in the fourth quarter of 2025, and THB 34.37 million in the first quarter of 2026 to THB 40.18 million in the second quarter of 2026.
MEDEZE continues to build on its business achievements. Most recently, the company became the first and only organisation in Thailand to receive Cell Bank Standard certification, further reinforcing its leadership in stem cell technology and regenerative medicine.
The company has developed medical infrastructure certified at both national and international levels. Its certifications and credentials include a modern drug manufacturing licence (Ph.Yor. 2), Cell Bank Standard certification from Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health, AABB accreditation, ISO certification, and compliance with the requirements of the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
MEDEZE also participates in the Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) Regulatory Sandbox, contributing to the development of advanced medicinal products in Thailand.
The company has continuously pursued plans to upgrade its medical infrastructure. In the second quarter of 2026, MEDEZE received Cell Bank Standard certification, marking an important milestone toward establishing its cell culture media manufacturing business.
In the third quarter of 2026, the company plans to sign a joint venture agreement with the Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO) to establish a company specialising in the production of cell culture media. MEDEZE also expects to obtain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification from the Ministry of Public Health for stem cell-based therapeutic products by the fourth quarter of 2026.
As part of its business development plan for 2027, the company intends to commence clinical trials involving the use of stem cells to treat knee osteoarthritis and skin conditions. MEDEZE expects stem cell-based treatment for knee osteoarthritis to become available as a highly effective treatment option by the third quarter of 2027.
The company also expects to commence the commercial production of cell culture media by 2028. The products are anticipated to reduce Thailand’s reliance on imports by several hundred million baht annually.
At the same time, MEDEZE has adopted a proactive strategy focused on elevating its operations to international standards and expanding its overseas customer base. The company continues to strengthen its medical infrastructure to maximise confidence among service users, with an emphasis on two principal standards.
The first is its status as Thailand’s only legally certified cell bank. The second is compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), which prioritises safety throughout every stage of medical manufacturing and related processes. These standards further reinforce the company’s reputation for the highest levels of safety.
MEDEZE is also expanding its revenue base into overseas markets. During the second quarter of 2026, the group entered the Philippine market, which offers strong growth potential and rising demand for specialised medical services.
Furthermore, the company remains committed to pharmaceutical research concerning the treatment of knee osteoarthritis and age-related facial skin deterioration. The objective is to obtain regulatory approval for medicinal products developed using patients’ own adipose-derived stem cells. Successful registration would enable the company to serve a considerably larger customer base in the future.
The certifications and business expansion plans are expected to transform MEDEZE Group’s positioning from a general service provider into a leader in medical innovation. This will directly strengthen customer confidence, improve purchasing decisions, and increase the company’s market share in both domestic and international markets.
