MEDEZE Steps Up Gen Z Engagement, Welcoming Young Innovators to “CASE LAB UPSKILL WORKSHOP” to Shape the Future of Healthcare Business
Ms. Danita Phithaknetikun, Chief Business Development Officer of Medeze Group Public Company Limited (MEDEZE), a Southeast Asian leader in stem cell banking, hair follicle cell banking, and immune cell activity testing, welcomed university students participating in “MEDEZE Presents: CASE LAB UPSKILL WORKSHOP by Beyond The Screen Season 2 x GOY NUTTY DREAM.” The business case analysis workshop provided Gen Z participants with an opportunity to learn from real-world business challenges while gaining first-hand insight into the operations of a healthcare and biotechnology organisation.
This collaboration represents another important step in MEDEZE’s efforts to communicate its brand and share knowledge of stem cell banking with younger generations. Gen Z consumers increasingly prioritise preventive healthcare, medical technology, and long-term quality-of-life planning.
The initiative aimed to demonstrate that “cell banking” is neither a distant concept nor a subject limited exclusively to the medical field. It is also an integral part of the health economy and a future-focused industry in which young people can actively participate and contribute to further development.
During the Exclusive Company Visit, participants toured MEDEZE’s laboratories and stem cell banking facilities to learn about the Company’s operations, ranging from service delivery and quality control to business management in compliance with relevant standards.
The participants also gained insights from MEDEZE executives into the Company’s business model, growth direction, and the future opportunities and challenges facing the healthcare and biotechnology industries.
The event also provided a platform for participants to exchange ideas and engage directly with the Company’s executives. This allowed them to gain a clearer understanding of real-world business operations and apply the knowledge they acquired to analysing business challenges, developing innovative concepts, and preparing business plans for presentation during the Final Pitch before MEDEZE’s executive panel. Participants competed for scholarships with a combined value of THB 30,000.
The programme was delivered as an intensive three-day workshop covering essential skills, including Design Thinking, Case Cracking, Business Finance, Storytelling, and Pitching. It was designed to equip participants with the ability to think critically, analyse business cases, and present systematic solutions to real-world challenges.
The Company Visit was held at Medeze Group Public Company Limited, while the Final Pitch competition was scheduled for September 13, 2026.
The initiative reflects MEDEZE’s commitment to creating learning opportunities that connect expertise in science, medicine, and business management with the creativity of younger generations. It also supports Gen Z participants in developing essential skills for the future of work and encourages them to contribute new ideas that can help advance Thailand’s healthcare industry and medical innovation.
