MEDEZE Provides a Platform for Gen Z to Compete with Future Healthcare Business Ideas in Final Pitch, Presenting Awards to Help Young Talent Advance into the Real Business World
Mr. Piyawat Ratchaphonsit, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, together with Ms. Danita Phithaknetikun, Chief Business Development Officer of Medeze Group Public Company Limited (MEDEZE), a Southeast Asian leader in stem cell banking, hair follicle cell banking, and immune cell activity testing, served on the judging panel and presented awards to school and university student teams participating in the Final Pitch competition under “MEDEZE Presents: CASE LAB UPSKILL WORKSHOP by Beyond The Screen Season 2 x GOY NUTTY DREAM.”
The competition provided a platform for young participants to present ideas and business plans developed from real-world business challenges before MEDEZE’s executive panel. They also received guidance and constructive feedback to help refine their ideas and prepare them for practical application in the business world.
The Final Pitch competition took place after participants had completed a series of workshops and a company visit to MEDEZE, where they learned about the Company’s business model, growth direction, and operations in stem cell banking and medical innovation. Each team applied the knowledge and skills gained in Design Thinking, Case Cracking, Business Finance, Storytelling, and Pitching to analyse the assigned business case, develop innovative ideas, and present creative business plans.
The winning team received a cash prize of THB 15,000, while the first runner-up and second runner-up received THB 9,000 and THB 6,000, respectively.
MEDEZE also presented two “MEDEZE Favorite” awards, each valued at THB 5,000, to teams whose ideas stood out and aligned strongly with the Company’s perspective. In addition, every participating team received a special award of THB 3,000 as encouragement and support for the continued development of their potential.
The initiative reflects MEDEZE’s commitment to proactively engaging with younger generations by connecting expertise in science, biotechnology, and healthcare innovation with creative business thinking. It also provided Gen Z participants with an opportunity to learn through real-world experience, build the confidence to think boldly and present their ideas, and gain a deeper understanding of opportunities within the healthcare industry of the future.
The event was held at Medeze Group Public Company Limited.
